recently was looking to move. Current market demonstrates cheaper per person rent for 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartments compared to 1 bed/bath in similar locations. Check to see if parking is included. If not, drive by and check the street parking situation. You do not want to have to spend 30 minutes everyday scoping out a spot

2 bed, 2 bath, 4 people | $3200 (expensive as close to beach)

Studio, 1 bath, 1 person | $1400

1 bed, 1 bath, 2 people | $1795

1 bed, 1 bath, 2 people | $2300

2 bed, 1 bath, 2 people | $2650 (I live in a 2nd floor 2 bed 1 bath right in the middle of Santa Monica, less than a mile from the beach. I am likely on the higher end of apartments in LA but my wife and I wanted an extra bedroom for guests and wanted to be somewhere where we could walk wherever we wanted to go (movies, out to eat, beach, etc))
